Important Update
We caught up with Team GB swimmer (and Aygo driver) Brodie Williams for a very exciting update:
"British swimming hosted two swimming competitions for elite swimmers in February and March to test how swimming competitions could be held during covid. These where both very different from the normal competitions which we attended before the pandemic struck. Swimmers had to stay in their bubbles when out of their hotel rooms and eat every meal in their room. I swam ok as I was in extremely heavy training but it was brilliant to be back racing.
Following the Government announcement at the weekend, we’d like to take a moment to let you know how the latest lockdown will affect the service we are able to provide you.
We’re proudly supporting Local Team GB swimmer Brodie Williams in the build-up to the rescheduled Olympics. We spoke to Brodie about the effect lockdown has had on the Olympic deam and his training schedule:
“My 2020 season came abruptly to an end in March when they announced that the Olympic trials set to be in April were cancelled due to the corona virus pandemic. Soon after we were in full lockdown and unable to go to the pool.

Toyota Gazoo Racing won the 86th 24 Hours of Le Mans over the weekend, where its cars took the chequered flag in first and second place. It was an historic first victory for Toyota in its 20th entry in the world-famous race.

Toyota has announced its win of the Green Fleet Manufacturer at the Fleet News Awards, which shows “commitment” to improve environmental performance.
Presented at a ceremony in London this week, Toyota has said the honour reflects the company’s “commitment to constant improvement in the environmental performance not just of its vehicles, but every aspect of its worldwide business”.
The judges said: “Toyota’s commitment to environmental issues has been frequently dismissed over the years but the company was brave and stuck to its guns. It was the right thing to do.
Just ask a farmer, fencer, road gritter, builder, hunter…
If you want to know just how reliable, hard-wearing and capable a machine the Toyota Hilux is, you can’t do better than ask the people who drive them day-in, day-out. That’s what makes Hilux’s latest award, Professional Pick-Up and 4×4 magazine’s Working Pick-Up of the Year, all the more relevant and rewarding.
The Metropolitan Police Service is set to team up with the Toyota Mirai to help create the world’s largest fleet of zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell electric police vehicles.
The first of 11 cars have been delivered to the Met with support from the FCHJU* grants programme and are equipped to work as both marked and unmarked vehicles for overt and covert response, as well as general purpose use.
