Following the Government announcement at the weekend, we’d like to take a moment to let you know how the latest lockdown will affect the service we are able to provide you.
Keeping your car on the road has been deemed an essential service, and as such we will remain fully open for service, maintenance and repair work. We will, of course, be continuing to ensure that our premises are Covid secure and our staff and customers are as protected as possible. Service and repair work will be by appointment only to allow us to control social distancing measures we have in place. Ideally we would ask that vehicles are left with us and collected when ready, but if you need to wait we are continuing to offer independent waiting areas for each customer. It is worth bearing in mind that there has been no announcement concerning the deferment of MOT tests during this lockdown, so if your vehicle is due an MOT it will need to be carried out to ensure you vehicle is compliant with the law.
Our showrooms and used car external display areas will not be open to the public from Thursday 5th November until further notice. However, our teams will be in the dealerships to continue car sales remotely and we will be able to talk to you via phone and video and meet your needs almost as well as if you were with us in the showroom. Customers can still collect a car or van which has been purchased directly from our dealerships, though the handover will take place outside from a designated exterior handover area and full social distancing practices will be in place to ensure both colleague and customer safety. Home delivery options will also be available and all handled in a COVID safe manner.
Thank you for your patience and for working with us to ensure our dealerships are a safe place to visit and work. We are open for business but in regards to sales, please call us rather than visiting our showrooms.
